WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE KIDDING?

I realize there has been a bit of discussion about the esthetics of cell phone towers.  People feel they're destroying the view, and perhaps they are (but how many of us are willing to give up our cell phones?)  Here is one example of how they're trying to camouflage the towers to make them less obnoxious to those who object to them.  Never mind that no other pine trees in the area are nowhere near that height.....you have to give them credit for trying!

OUT AND ABOUT

Black-and-white is a great choice for a dreary day.   And even with the clouds rolling in, the infrared effect still shows up.  You can see the telltale white foliage of the trees in the background and the plant clinging to the base of the lighthouse:
